Blogroll Policy

I am going to start blogrolling as a way of discovering other interesting blogs and other people’s ideas. There seems to be a mysterious blogroll etiquette out there on the net – all of which I’m rather new to, so hopefully I can pre-empt issues with the following:

I’ll add to my blogroll as a way of bookmarking for myself the blogs I am curious about and want to read more of. It’s a handy way to remember to check that blog, and it’s a handy way for others to come across the same content.

I’ll remove items from my blogroll if someone contacts me and asks me to do so. Otherwise the reasons will be entirely random (rotating items on blogroll, outdated links, stopped reading or my interests have changed, anything!).

You don’t have to link back to me, though it would be very kind if you did! I’ll never ask you to explain yourself, either way. Similarly, if you blogroll me first, I reserve the right to link to back to you or not.
